I have the same problem as this person: [post|242968]

BUT after taking my own apart — I am fairly certain it has to do with the “capacitive touch sensors” mentioned in the tear down — is there a way to know what part is damaged just out of curiosity or is it something you would like, need a microscope to see? I removed the damaged black bubble part towards the top of the mouse as the seal was broken - and that stopped some ghost scrolling that was happening. But yeah it is just point and click for me at this point…
