Battery not charging due to thermal issue

So I replaced my Samsung tab s2 power button like a breeze, however the tablet refuses to charge it comes up with the image I have linked below.  I believe the temperature sensor may have gone faulty from the months it has been sitting on my shelf. My question is does anyone know where the temperature sensor is?  If I know this I can replace the part, I believe it’s in either the charging daughter board or the battery itself, any help would be appreciated!
