Water spillage on laptop

I spilled water on my asus notebook laptop yesterday.for a moment a green led light was showing as i turned it on but the screen wasnt coming on.so i felt that if i connected it to power,the screen might turn on .but unfortunately nothing works anymore even the green led dosent come on.should i try to dry the pc and is there any chance to save this pc.
