iPad won't charge reliably; Lightning connector bent

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

-I’m fairly sure the Lightning connector on my iPad Mini 2 bent when it fell off the bed. I can charge it if I pull up on the cable (toward the screen), but then it stops charging when I let go.

What’s the best way to remedy this? I think if I could get to the connector, I might be able to bend it back into shape, but I don’t know if that’s possible without removing the entire logic board. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue?
