It is hard to see but it appears as if there was solder on the 2nd connector on the mechanism. See if that gets the clock going. I would need another view from the side (red arrows) to see if there are any solder pads and where the far right wire connects on the bell motor. there appears to be some writing on the mechansim any chance you can let us know what it says. I suspect a maker and model number which might help
