The many proposed suggestions to perform a hard reset when a device freezes/halts/hangs/hiccups (whatever you want to call it) are not a solution…it is like pouring warm water on a person who is freezing to death…it may feel good for a while, but it’s not a cure, only a remedy to bypass symptoms of a deeper problem which has to be solved by the tablet manufacturers or Google, most likely both because the problem is not limited to only a few tablet producers…some do better than others, but none are without fault…doing a hard reset doesn’t solve the problem, it only interrupts the series of events that caused the problem to occur…do a reset, and the next time the same or a similar series of events occurs it will happen again (and eventually this '''will''' happen when you go back to doing what you were trying to do previously)…we need to stop giving Google and the device manufacturers a free pass…time to put some heat on all of them to fix their sloppy work…except under extremely rare and unusual circumstances, we never see these kind of problems with iOS, Windows, or most versions of Linux…Android is still a pretender, and it takes a long time to fix a problem that no one is working on…
