Constant vibration with power (water damage)

Hi,

I removed the motor on my water damaged evo because it would vibrate nonstop. Now the phone functions fine minus vibration. Any idea where I could get a new motor?

Hi,
-I bought a water damaged Evo. It works perfectly fine except that the vibrating motor constantly goes when a battery is put in or the phone is plugged in.
-
-No corrosion. I guess the motor is shot. How can I remove it? I heated it with a soldering iron but it didn't budge at all. Any advice to not break the board?
-
-Thanks!!

Hi,
-I bought a water damaged Evo. It works perfectly fine except that the vibrating motor constantly goes when a battery is put in or the phone is plugged in. I've taken it apart down to the component level and I don't see any corrosion or anything strange. I've dabbed rubbing alcohol on the visible parts but it didn't help. Any chance there could be corrosion under the shield causing it? ( [guide|2979|page=2] step 13) And how do I remove that shield? Does anyone know if this can be repaired?
