There can be many issues that can take you to overheat.
let’s try some fixing:
First you can test the problem by installing any monitoring software and observe what is the issue, who is causing it. (one example in HWInfo64 / HWInfo32).
If you decide that the issue is inside, there are more than a couple things you can do - clean the fan, clean the components, change the thermal paste (CPU and GPU).
Depending on the severity of the problem you could have to do all the steps.
# Open the laptop case and clean the CPU fan aerea.
# (if the above doeas not do the trick) Buy some therma paste, some cleaning fluid and get it done :).
