I was using my mouse and typing, when I decided to disable the touchpad using the hot key - thinking there was an Enable Hotkey somewhere. Yeah, Asus probably does have one, but they didn’t share it with us. So, just so everyone is on the same page, this is a result of typing Fn and f9 simultaneously.
This was quite an easy fix, but it did take some researching time, before I simply said to myself, did I check it myself -I am an Engineer, so why did I not check it? I Simply did the following:
# Touch the Start Button,
# Then I touched the “Gear” (Settings) button at the bottom left, of the left side bar. ————Side Note: Stupid Microsoft can’t figure out that having two system settings locations {Control Panel and Settings (Gear)}, that are in two totally separate controls and totally different device options- is stooooopid. For all you Microsoft fan boys and girls, that is S T U P I D. Yes, I can type and spell. I just like having fun, so don’t take this serious. I am very tired of MS and their horrible approach to settings in general. Put them all in one single location, instead of making us go all over the road map. For example… anyone want to take a stab at adding MSconfig to the mix? It is utterly ridiculous that Microsoft can’t put everything in one place, where as, us, today, can’t even figure out how to turn ON our touchpads and other issues unrelated but at the same time related. Ok, that is my soapbox. I am done.
# Then, I touched “Devices”. hmmm… self explanatory.
# Then I touched “Touchpad” on the list of Devices to the left, under the grayed “Devices” word.
# Then there is an “On/Off” toggle for the Touchpad at the top of the screen. For me this was in the Off position. …..oh
# Touch that with your finger and it toggles to “On”.
And wha-la. All set.
The next thing I would be looking for are the list of Asus Hotkey List. I bet the related Hotkeys are something like “Ctrl + Alt + T”, simultaneously, or something dumb like that, that would enable the Touchpad.

+Edit: I also did a search for Asus Keyboar Hotkeys and it turns out you can go to the Microsoft Store App and get “ASUS Keyboard Hotkeys” and this will make everything unhidden by displaying the status on the screen. I just tried it. It shows me the status of the Hotkey now and I can now Enable and Disable the Fn/f9 HotKey by pressing it multiple times. Perfect. Fixed.
