As for me, I had a Hot air SMD rework station and a temperature controlled soldering station.
Some would say for temperature controlled station, minimum 60W and above.
I prefer those stations to be separated, in event of a failure which will brick all usage. Encountered once when my temperature controlled soldering station heating element is bad. Lucky having the hot air, which is needed to solder the new heating element to the soldering iron.
Get good flux, desoldering pumps, etc.
