Try to download irecovery from here http://www.ihackintosh.com/2009/07/irecovery-iphone-recovery-mode-loop-restart/ and see if it can get you out of the recovery mode. I also use iReb to get it out of recovery mode. It is available here http://ih8sn0w.com/index.php/products/view/ireb.snow You could also try this "turn off your ipod, hold the home button, and plug it into itunes while still holding the home button until the itunes symbol appears with a cable under it. itunes should say "ipod found in restore mode". Restore your ipod to either a backup of that ipod if there is one, or set up a new ipod. (setting up a new ipod will fix any previous problem)" BTW the 2003 error is :Connection problem; change USB cable and check USB port. Good luck
