I added a RCA LOC and my speakers stopped working!

I have a 2016 Chrysler 200, and I decided I want a little more bass in it. I spliced a rca line out converter into the rear deck speakers, and I had bass for a few minutes, but now the rear deck speakers went out. I tried disconnecting the battery to reset it, no luck. I’m at a loss.. any help would really be appreciated.
