Why is my screen black on tablet model number 9020A

my daughter was playing a game and it just went black so i thought she ran it dead so i put it on charge but it was not showing it was changing . but i left it on there and took it off it comes on and makes update sounds and volume keys all make sounds but nothing on the screen
