Ask a repair technician to check a power relay/controller. Can be that. Or the place that connects battery to MoBo, or paths between relay and battery.

All that is possible only if your battery isn’t discharging while your laptop is in use (be that work with docs or heavy duty like gaming/3D-modelling).

If your battery is discharging, then it might be an AC adapter issue.
