Ok so when I turn on the laptop, the screen is black and there is no chime but I can hear the DVD drive and the Hard Drive spin up. I’ve heard of dead GPU problems but this is a 2006 Macbook pro with the Radeon X1600 and it wasn’t covered under the replacement program so I dont think this is the issue. Im considering doing a reflow but im not sure if this is the solution I am looking for.
