eBay. People sell lens units, or whole lx100s for parts. They’re not cheap though. The ones on there at the moment are about £200 and about £35 postage from US to UK. The postage would be much less if you live in the States.A very nice man called Philip at a Restart Project event in Kentish Town London walked me through disassembling mine following ifixit instructions…it’s a bit fiddly, but with care and concentration it’s achievable ….even putting the little creature back together again!

People sell lens units, or whole lx100s for parts on eBay .The units on there at the moment are described as new-refurbished (whatever that means)and they're not cheap. They’re about £200 and about £35 postage from US to UK, so if you’re in the States you won’t get so stung for delivery .A very nice man called Philip at a Restart Project event in Kentish Town London walked me through disassembling mine following ifixit instructions…it’s a bit fiddly, but with care and concentration it’s achievable ….even putting the little creature back together again!
eBay. People sell lens units, or lx100 for parts. They’re not cheap though. About £200 and about £35 postage to UK, the ones I saw. Much less postage if you live in the States where many seem to come from.
