New logic board - System Serial Number

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I installed a New logic board with your Ifixit instructions and it works perfectly. However when I go to Hardware Overview the System Serial Number shows "SystemSerialNumb". My question is how do I place my machine SN in place of this message?

-Sorry, I see now how this works.

To clarify, I am thinking that the serial number shown in hardware overview is the machine sn and not the logic board sn. This is what my other Macs show.
Thank you for your reply.
