Why does the screen turn black when I unplug it from the power?

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

My '''ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP500LA''' laptop’s screen goes dark when I unplug it from the power adapter. More specifically when I unplug the computer from charging the screen is barely seeable, its not a brightness issue, you really have to look at it to see whats happening. Then when you plug it back in, everything works like normal. I have tried everything like changing the battery, updated drivers, changed Intel’s graphic settings, pressed the brightness buttons the opposite way, and changed power options. But nothing works, is there a hardware/software problem I don’t know about that does this? Is there something I haven’t tried?
