-I have successfully fixed several HTC HD2 phone digitizers. YES this is a VERY difficult phone to work with and if you do not seat the parts back together, it can give you problems from not turning on to turning on with the charger connected to shorting out on you. However, it is a DOABLE task with extreme care and precision. You have to know where the cables are and how to disassemble it correctly. Else, you will have a phone in pieces which will not work or some parts will break on you. That said,if you need any help with this device, you can email me at fixit@cellphonerepairshack.com and i will do my best to help you through it. We also sell parts for this and many other devices, if you don't find what you are looking for there, call us at 305-433-7285.
