I can't change screen timeout on samsung galaxy a6 2018 sm-600gn

I have changed the screen timeout in settings but it dors not change anything. I have tried changing the time from 15 seconds to everything listed up to 5 minutes. Nothing changes the screen time out from 15 seconds. Can someone please help?
