Usually most of the leaks on the outside of the block or inside the cylinder combustion chambers are the result of a faulty valve cover gasket. When this happens, all you need to do is just replace the valve cover gasket. Installation of a new component is rather a straight forward process. To get the job done, follow the process:

* Remove the valve cover from the head of the engine
* Remove the old gasket
* Keep the area clean with a rag
* Spray some silicone spray where the gasket will be placed
* Place on new gasket
* Put the valve cover back, and torque valve cover bolts back to spec.
