I just use a CRT discharging tool to eliminate the hazard. I would have been out of business if I let fear dictate what I could work on. After all, most of the early Macs all had CRTs! But I remember a couple of times when my tech got knocked on his tukus when he didn’t discharge it. But after the second time, he remembered to discharge them ;-)
