iPhone won’t recognise replacement screens

Hi all,

I bought an iPhone 5c with a smashed screen. Initial tried replacing the screen with 2 different eBay ones with no joy. Tried power cycling and all the tricks but both gave me nothing.

I took a working OEM screen from another 5c and this one just appears dead too.  It only works with the original smashed screen!
