Black&Decker HandyMixer 9220 battery replacement

I have a Black & Decker HandyMixer 9220 wireless mixer and its NiCd battery is no longer charging. I tried to open it, to replace the battery, but I was not able to separate the two halves of its handle.

Is there a teardown guide that shows how to open it, in order to replace its battery?
