I myself very rarely use a esd bracelet . I have a rubberized work bench and the floor in my work area is concrete . I'm in a basement which also means the room has a good amount of humidity. That said I have worked where esd is a problem and good safety precautions are to always touch the metal case of the computer or device your working on often as your working or use a strap grounded to the case.
