++@rc222 without seeing it and only going by your description, this sounds like a broken LCD display. Post an iame of what your screen shows you. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide++ [guide|21499] for that.
If it is the LCD screen it will be difficult and expensive to try to replace it. those screens are ‘‘‘not’’’ readily available. you may have to take a look at the back of the LCD panel and check the manufactures label. With the right number for the panel you can try an online search and see what you can find.
