Touchscreen won't respond after water damage. (P20 lite)

Since it's raining a lot these past few days my accidentally got wet dramatically that the power button is not working properly. I can't remove the battery since it's a built in so I put it in a rice. Power button, charging port are all working but the touch screen is unresponsive. Is there any chance that I can still fix this? Thank you.
