Same Issue: definitely charges, and the screen comes on, i cant test if volume up down or on switch are 'working' but I cant see any physical damage. Phone was draining fast and turning off near 15% full with old battery. new battery lights up the amber light, and the screen lights and displays the recharge rate when plugged in. Windows isnt recognizing phone, but I'm not sure if that is abnormal if it is plugged in and not turned on. I tried holding all 3 buttons but Im not seeing a change but I will try again whatever is suggested.
