Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to inspect the USB charge port.
Ensure that the pins are all there and that they are straight and parallel with each other.

If the port has lint or other debris in it, use a vacuum cleaner to try and suck it out. DO NOT use a metal pin or probe as you mat damage the pins. If you have to, use a wooden toothpick to dislodge any debris etc.

If the port seem OK try the following:
Connect the charger cord to the speaker ''only'' and then holding the speaker firmly in one hand, ''gently'' (stress gently) try to move the charge cord plug up and down and side to side to check for any movement in the USB port.
If there is movement (or even if not) the speaker will have to be opened to be further inspected as to the problem.
