This was probably resolved, but to prevent future heart break.. I am pretty sure they are different. I have a G530t1 and went through 3 lcd's that did not work, even though they claimed to be compatible with all G530 lcds. The model of these were all sm-g5308w_lcd_fpcb . I got another lcd, with model 98Qhd_s6d78a0 for G530 also, and it worked perfectly.
