It might takes a few tries but start at the Home screen  and press the Menu key.

Tap on "Settings" (you may have to work out from the language which one to tap),

Then when in ''Settings'' scroll down to what you think is ''Language and Input''.

Usually the first entry in there is the language option, tap on English
