Bypass phantom auxiliary signal without replacement

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I have had a Jawbone Big Jambox for a few years now, and have been using it via aux cord, opposed to bluetooth. The auxiliary port is completely broken, the whole component detached from the Jambox and is now lost.

I was expecting that I would still be able to use the speaker through bluetooth, but after pairing with a device, the jambox does not play any audio. I have read the tutorial on replacing the auxiliary port, but I was wondering if there was a way to make the jambox bypass the aux without replacement?

I feel like there must be a way to either solder a tiny connection, or something that would trick the jambox into bypassing the aux

I would still like to use this speaker, as all other components work fine.

Thank you!

Mamoun
