My 360 was doing the same thing. I tried to unplug the power supply for a few minutes. It was still doing it. I often get the open disk problem too. Can't play my games anymore if I turn off the console. So I was a lil !#^&@@ off and smacked it and bam, problem solved my door closes now. Lol!! So I dunno what I did but worked for me... Still having problems with the games though...
