Was the microphone working after you finished repairing the USB connector?
It seems very coincidental that it has failed after you opened the phone to repair the USB connector
Try starting the phone in [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gV7aONwvPo|safe mode] and check if the microphone works.
''If the microphone works now'', then there is a software problem being caused by a downloaded app. The trick is to find out which one it is.
''If the microphone still doesn't work'', there is a hardware problem.
You'll have to open up the phone again and check that the microphone is connected OK or has not been damaged
