Charisma is on the right path with updating the firmware but Polaroid's website doesn't have the current update compared to updating through the app itself as far as I see. (1.2v vs 2.1). Still doesn't solve the issue, and others as well. Reading the reviews for the Polaroid's app, people have edited their reviews as many have had the same issues and it could be both the camera's firmware and your phone as well since Polaroid did state they were processing the app for the new iOS 11. I was running iOS 10 with the app and after both updates I have found the solution to my own issue and hopefully for you as well.
