Aubriel Jensen possibly a failed display. you want to first charge it longer than 10min. If you have no results after having let it properly charge, I suggest you try a hard reset but do not reset it
Turn off your phone completely. (Press the power button for few seconds and tab on Power Off)
Press and Hold Home + Volume Up + Power keys together at the same time about 10 seconds.
As soon as you get into the Android system recovery mode, go to wipe data/factory reset using the volume down button and select it with the power button.
When asked to confirm “Confirm wipe of all user data?”. Select '''NO'''
Select reboot system now.
If your phone did not show anything on when you tried to reset, consider replacing the display.
