There's that. So, I need a free data recovery program that I could boot off of or works pretty dang well. This HDD has had it's OS uninstalled, been reformatted, OS installed, Configured, and used for 2 hours or so. (OS is Windows XP) I was thinking plug the HDD into another PC and use [https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva|Recuva] but I'm not sure if that's really good for this kind of mess up. It's probably gone at this point, but it's worth a shot. Thanks!
