Polaroid P600 flash not working

I am using a brand new Polaroid Originals film, but the green light does not light up, even when I'm pressing halfway down the shutter button. I am giving it enough time, but cannot even hear the flash charging up, and of course, does not take any pictures.

Though, if I am trying to fire it with the flash override, it takes the photo and ejects it without any problem.

Any ideas?
