Didn't use for a long time, forgot lock pattern to unlock it. Doing a reset with paper clip doesn't help, still locked.

Didn't use for a long time, forgot lock pattern to unlock it. Doing a reset with paper clip doesn't help, still locked. Holding down the power and volume keys has stuck it in a boot loop that never ends. I had gotten to the point where it said it had been reset and wanted my info, email and once submitted I got a notice from gmail that I had logged in on a new device but the tablet just keeps asking me for that same info over and over every time.
