Having issues with aftermarket radio and subwoofer

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hello. I installed a aftermarket radio in my van. Works good. I also purchased a 12" subwoofer with a 250 watt amplifier. I purchased a 270 watt amplifier kit. Comes with power, ground and blue amp turn on wire. I have connected everything correctly but I'm getting no sound from my subwoofer. The amp turns on but I'm getting nothing from the subwoofer. I connected the subwoofer to my house stereo and the speaker works fine. But when I connected it to the van. I get nothing. I have a 2000 dodge grand caravan with a factory infinity speakers that I have been told to have a built-in amp to the speakers and control unit somewhere in the van. Haven't located yet. My question is? Does my factory infinity speakers interfere with the signal to the subwoofer, do I have to disconnect the factory amplifier, bypass it or something, or do I need to change the amp wires to a higher wattage maybe a 1200,1600watt kit instead of the 270watt I installed. I have connected other systems in my other vehicles before and never had any problems. I just don't know what is going on. Please let me know if you have incountered this issue and what I can do to fix
