Dented laptop corner, could I fix it like this?

I dropped my Blade Stealth  on tile a while back,  and dented the display's corner. The glass didn't crack, and everything is fine.

I want to get it fixed, and was thinking about getting some self-hardening  putty, filling in the dent from the outside, and then Applying a skin from dbrand.

How well would this work?
