@estesi you are not telling us what you have checked. It is important that you check all inputs. Make sure that you connect inputs to HDMI Coax Composite etc. Verify that you have no video on all of those. You also need to check your standby LED and tell us if there are any flashing code on that one. If so, let us know what it shows.
In a darkened room turn the TV on and set it to a station where yo know you should get a picture. Then use a flashlight and shine it at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out any shadows/shapes. Right now it does sound like your backlight is not functioning, which could be an issue with your power board/LED driver or the LED array as well as your T-con board. Unplug your TV and remove the back. Take some good pictures of the layout of the boards as well as the individual boards and post those with your question. That will allow us to see what you see. Use this guide [guide|21499] for that. You will need a multimeter for further testing, so make sure that you have access to one of those.
