Why are my pics dissapearing?

Sometimes when I try to move a pic to a different album in my gallery, it pops up a little message @ the bottom of the screen that says "request failed" & then the picture dissapears when I '''wasn't''' deleting it..

What's happening, & how do I get the pix back???
