Hi @celticfox ,
First ''do not turn on the drone''.
Then you need to remove the battery as soon as possible to prevent further damage that may be caused by the moisture in the drone being in contact with the electronics and a power source. (water is a conductor of electricity and therefore there may be damaging current flow through components that was not catered for in the design of the circuit)
Here is a link to the ifixit [guide|75225] guide which should help you to gain access to the battery, electronics etc.
Here is a link that in general describes what to do.
[[Electronics Water Damage]].
-You need to thoroughly clean all the components using IPA 90%+ (Isopropyl Alcohol - available at most pharmacies) to remove all traces of moisture and corrosion. Do not use "rubbing alcohol" as this is usually <70% IPA and may contain scents and therefore is not as effective. If you have to use it, check the label.

Hopefully you may be able to save your drone
