Finno Furre, the only thing that I can think off are the commercially available adapters or if you look at the pinouts for the [http://pinouts.ru/CellularPhones-A-N/iPhone_connector_pinout.shtml|iphone dock connector] and compare it to the [http://pinouts.ru/Slots/ieee1394_pinout.shtml|current Firewire connection] and the USB connection [http://pinouts.ru/Slots/USB_pinout.shtml|pinout] you might rewire it by replacing those. I suppose it would only work for charging since the data protocol is different. Good Luck to you
