After cleaning the fan my laptop does not start

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hi, after cleaning the fan of my macbook air late 2010 following the instructions on:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1r9yl-P-Ao

and

[guide|4508]

my laptop does not start anymore.

After cleaning it the laptop started for a little while but then switched off and does not do anything when the on / off button is pressed.

I tried to search the internet and tried most of what I could find here:

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/mac-wont-boot-step-step-guide-waking/

The only thing that gives some results is:

# Unplug the battery.
# Unplug the MagSafe power cable.
# Hold down the power button for about 10 seconds and continue to do that.
# While still holding the power button down, insert the MagSafe power cable and hold it for another 10 sec.
# Release the power button after those 10 sec and make a “normal” press as if you would normally turn on your computer.

When I do the last step the fan start spinning as fast as it can but nothing else, in order to switch it off I need to press the on/off button for about 10 second.

If I do the same with the battery plugged in nothing happen.

Any help on what I should do to make my Macbook Air working again?

Cheers
