My 9" flare 3 will not stay connected to my computer?

Every time i connect my flare 3 tablet to my computer it makes a sound saying its connected then makes a sound almost as soon as i connect it saying its not connected . the icon shows up in my computer then disappears when i click on it or just before i click on it. why wont it stay connected so i can get my pics and vids off of it????
