You should check your alternator first it drives all of the electrical systems and keeps the car running, after that you should check to see if the battery is holding a charge. Also turn off everything in the car, Radio, heat, wipers, etc that puts load on the electrical system. If you start turning them on and the car dies the Alternator is going bad. Also check the belt in the car for it slipping as well.
