@preheat If you preform a factory reset you will loose your photos the only way in is to keep trying to get your password right . If you get locked out after to may failed attempts then [http://www.hardreset.info/devices/huawei/huawei-honor-8/|go here] then instead of factory reset in step for select wipe cache partition. do that and you will get a new round of password attempts . If you made the password you will eventually get it . Hope this helps
