I have had this issue many times, and found this article after searching for an alternative. Mainly, I am concerned with removing and re-placing the plastic camera and proximity sensors. I typically use super glue of any brand, but this is not a good alternative because one wrong move and you have the glue smeared onto the clear camera lookout, or you don't position the bracket exactly where it needs to be and have to chisel it back off.
I'm thinking of trying some type of contact cement?? I have the the LOCA glue for the LCD repairs but it takes too long to cure for little fixes like this.
I'm hoping someone out there has a definitive answer.
